Do your records of the Perks family go back to around 1713? I have a marriage between Jonathan Paynter (b.1713) and Elizabeth Perks in Redruth Cornwall. I have been told that Perks is not a Cornish name and that her family actually came from Worcester.

Jonathan Paynter was affiliated with the Cornish tin mines and when they began to close down, he and 4 sons moved to Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales.
