Can anyone confirm the relationship of Susannah Sheppard, wife of David Perkins, father (or grandfather) of Shepard E. Perkins of Perkins, Georgia, to Mary Sheppard, wife of Adam Brinson II, of Onslow County, North Carolina?
I have seen some evidence that Susannah and Mary were sisters, daughters of Benjamin Sheppard and Sarah Ruffin.
Adam II had a son Shepard Brinson.
David (II) had a son Shepard Perkins.
I should add that Shepard E. Perkins married Susan Watson Clark, brother of William Lake Clark, who married Cynthia Valley Brinson, daughter of Shepard Emmitt Brinson, grandson of Shepard Brinson.
