Thank you for sharing this information. I don' t know exactly where or if there is a connection. Martha ___Perkins was in Orange/Alamance County...Her daughter, Nancy C. Perkins m. David S. Underwood. David S. Underwood was in the household of Elisha B. JORDAN who was a Justice of Peace and Farmer and later relocated to Florida from Wayne County, North Carolina. I think David Perkins/Nancy's brother was also in the household this was pre or about 1870. David S. Underwood parents were Benjamin Thomas Underwood and Barshaby (((JORDAN))) I don't have actual proof,but I was told d/o o f Henry JORDAN and Edith HOLDER JORDAN of Johnston County, North Carolina...So I have a lot of hear say-but there is a connection some how some way. Just haven't proven it all yet.
