Hi! Iam not sure if this is the same but my great aunt married a levi perkins jr and when this marriage took place around 1880's. my great aunt charity wright had 3 or 4 children from a previous marriage and one of her children was john wesley (wright) perkins taking his stepfather name. They lived in the wayne county,pulaski county area! The name john wesley was so popular back then (espicially in this area)! Please let me know if this could be the same family!
