Judson E. Perkins/Bell D. Covell

The above couple were married on Feb. 5, 1899 in Shelby. Where in Shelby or by whom I do not know. Judson's parents were S.E.Perkins and L.L.Giddings, I know nothing about their backgrounds either.

On the other hand Bell is a bit of a mystery. I found her in the 1880 census in the home of David W. and Emma Covell (nee Hobler), of Whitehall, MI. She was listed as 3 years old and their daughter. David and Emma divorced in 1883. The divorce decree states ther e were no children born to the union. LDS records of the marriage of Judson and Bell list her as the daughter of L.T.Covell, mother unknown. No other information was listed for her.

I do not recall anyone in the family ever mentioning Bell or anything about her. If anyone could shed light on this matter I would appreciate hearing from them.
