Aug. 31st, 1892: Mrs. Miriam (Walley) Perkins died here on Monday, aged 76 years. Mrs. Perkins was a daughter of Thomas Walley, who was an uncle of Wendell Phillips and whose converstion to Catholicism made a stir in Boston years ago, being received into the Catholic Church by Cardinal Cheverus.
