Perkins, died suddenly in Boston, MA, Wednesday. He was born in Penobscot, ME, and in early life left his home in Maine for California, where he was engaged in various vocations until after the completion of the Union Pacific Railroad, when he became connected with what is known as the Railroad Express Advertising and Publishing Company. For something over a year, Mr. Perkins had resided in Boston, MA, and had been connected with the Cape Cod Canal Construction Company, and particularly with the building of the great dredge that is now excavating the canal. Mr. Perkins was married in California, and leaves a widow and two children.
