John Wrightsell Perkins, son of William Henry Perkins and Sarah Wrightsell of Fayette Co. Tn.
John W. Perkins was born 26 Feb 1850 in Fayette Co., Tn. and he died in St. Louis, Mo. on 20 Apr 1920. John married Ophelia Smith on ? Ophelia was the daughter of William H. Smith and Minerva Levesque of Poinsett, Cross Co. Ark.
Her parents were married 19 Jul 1841 in Limestone, Co. Ala.
Ophelia was born 29 Oct 1854 Harrisburg, Cross, Co. Ark. and died 22 Sep 1942 St. Louis, Mo. and is buried at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, phone: 314-725-7800, St. Louis, Mo.
John may have been creamated, but not real sure. Ophelia died of Brochitis and Flu. John died of a uranine coma from chronic nepheritis??
Does anyone know if John and Ophelia had any children???
