This is a very "long" long shot. I have a letter written January 11, 1887 to my Great Grandmother, Frances (Bailey) Tuggey, from "Auntie" Perham. Frances was born in Mexico, NY in 1846 and died in Springfield, MA in 1924. Her father was Alfred Bailey, born in Westmalen (?) NY in 1808 and died in Oswego in 1887. Her mother was Ageline Gates born 1814 in Mexico, NY and died in 1858 in Oswego, NY.
The question is who is Auntie Perham? Any help in this mystery is greatly appreciated!
