My grandfather, Percival William TURNER, was born to John Turner and Annie Turner, on Oct. 2, 1889, in Tiverton, Devon. Annie's maiden name was PERHAM. Anne Perham married John Turner on August 12, 1885 at St. Peter's Church in Tiverton, Devon. Her father's name is listed as Philip Perham, deceased. Witnesses listed are: William Perham and Eliza Turner. Philip Perham died in 1875 at Collipriest, Tiverton, at 36 years of age. His approximate date of birth is then 1839. Philip had a sister named Ann RICHARDS (nee Perham). Even though the events I have mentioned occur in Devon, I believe there was a connection to Somerset. If anyone is connected or has further information on this family, please post.
