Stan,

The two Robert Perfects in the first query of this forum are your direct ancestors. The next in line is George Washington Perfect, 1813-1902, who married Mary Howell, 17 April 1834 at Delaware County, Indiana. One of their sons, Francis Marion Perfect, 1841-1920, married Vesta Ann Brent, 26 December 1866, at Mahaska County, Iowa. Their son, John Edwin Perfect, 1871-1947, farmed near Canton, Oklahoma, married Myrtle Maude Brent 13 March 1899. Their son was your Francis Marion Perfect. This information comes from the book, "The Mellett and Hickman Families of Henry County, Indiana", by Franklin Miller, Jr., copyright 1974. My great grandfather, John Howell Perfect, 1837-1929, was a brother to the first Francis Marion Perfect. Hope this helps.

Judy
