My grandfather, William Perez, was born 10 FEB 1890 in Isabella, Puerto Rico. Sometime before 1920 he left the island with his brother and sailed a ship to PA. Once there, they "jumped" ship. William went on to live in PA and finally settled in OH. His brother went west to CA and the brothers never saw one another again. According to William's social security application, his father was JUAN PEREZ. His mother was BENEDICTA MERCADO. Any and all help would be appreciated.
