Lewis Henry Peregory of Fredericksburg, VA ,Who was instrumental in finding and preserving much of the Peregory Family History died at the age of 66, Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He had retired from the U. S. Department of Agriculture and enjoyed geneology. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria S. Peregory; four children, Michael Peregory and his wife, DeeAnna, of Seoul, South Korea, Mary P. Jenkins and her husband, Robert, of Fredericksburg, Teresa P. Haynes and her husband, Mark, of Fredericksburg, and Joseph Peregory and his wife, Laurette, of Mineral; Seven grandchildren, Peter Peregory, Robert Jenkins, Jaimee Jenkins, Kyle Arritt, Rachael Haynes, Joelle Willis and Luke Peregory; one brother, Ralph Peregory of Dahlgren; one sister, Delores Henderson of King George; several nieces and nephews.
Entombment will be private at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, September 10 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
