Do I assume correctly that you are referring to the Charles Peregoy, born December 18, 1764,son of Joseph. He and Ruth had ELIZABETH (May 25, 1786; SARAH (Dec. 23, 1787); ANN (Apr. 7, 1789); NICHOLAS (Sept. 12, 1790); HELINA (June 26, 1792) and JAMES (Jan. 11, 1794)? If so, would you mind sharing any information you have on the Joseph Peregoy and Ruth Gorsuch families? Do you know the Charles Peregoy (b. Dec. 18, 1764) who married Sarah Tschudi(b. Ap. 15, 1792), daughter of Martin and Mary Magdeline Tschudi? We are researching the history of our community and the Tschudi and Read families were among the first permanent settlers, followed by their children's families. Information about the intermarriages helps locate people in otherwise directionless US Censuses. It also helps us understand land transfers and likely age of structures. Mrs. M. Willis
