H-m-m-m.I have a copy of a trascript (I didn't do it myself) of the full will of Ezekiel.In it when he explicitly names his wife, he names her as "Molly."
The line about his executors goes "Item, I give & bequeath unto my daughter Sukey, Nancy, Polly, & Lucy Perdue, my son John Perdue to be my executors of this my last will and testament.."
Here, and in this context, I interpret Polly (Mary) to be the name of a daughter.If I am correct, and if my transcript is correct, then it seems she was never named as Mary.I think I/we need to look carefully at the original to see for ourselves, however.
