I am also a descendant of Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Lt. Samuel Smith who was born abt 1601/1602, Whatfield, Suffolk, England. Elizabeth married my ancestor Nathaniel Foote, Jr. They had a son Daniel Foote who married Sarah. They had a son Peter Foote who married Sarah Hurd. They had a son Truman Sherman Foote who married Sarah Jackson in 1801. They had a daughter Emeline Foote 11 May 1804. Emeline married John Kirk in 1829. They had a son Truman Sherman Kirk born in 1837 who married Mary Antoinette Johnson (or Dean - adopted) They had a son Arthur Charles Kirk born in Tioga County New York. He married Bessie Imogene Roderick. They had my grandmother Marjorie Ellen Kirk born in 1909 still living at age 94! My grandmother married Calvin Byron Talhem. They had a 4th child, Kathleen Diane Talhelm. She married Carlos Arevalo. I was born - Donna Arevalo. I married Ronald Mathias. We have 5 children. We live in Portage, MI. The saga continues. I found out a lot of this information (from Emeline Foote and back)in the last 2 days on the LDS.org Family History site. It is likely there are many related to us since they were some of the very first American Colonists. Awesome!
