John Peppers, Sr. who was married to Hester Whaley (from Worchester Co. MD) first appears in the Green County, Georgia records around 1790. I am looking for any information on where John came from and who his parents were. I am wondering if he also could have been from Maryland, as there seems to be a number of families that migrated to Georgia from Maryland around the same time. I would appreciate any possible leads.
