I am a Nordic descendant to Pierre Pepin who came to Sweden
approx. 1630 from France. Not much is known of him, even less
of his wife. However he was one of the men from France /Belgium who worked at the new iron plants around Sweden, introduced by rich men using a new technology.
Sweden was running out of iron at the time because of
the war 1618-1658.
I know much work is done searching the French Pepins.
However I miss the connection from my ancestor to these,
I have Pierres history from the time he was known as "the francose" in Sweden but nothing earlier. If you know more,
please help me.
