Dorothy - I am trying to trace Bessie Lydia Penrose who was the second wife of my ancestor Jonathan Lawrence m 1889. The only Bessie I have found of the correct age (B 1855) was from Tywardreath (but her father was Samuel) which I found on the 1871 Cornwall Census (Kindred Konnections) which is on the web.Have you tried that? Jenny in London
