This is what I have on Mary Penrod and Joseph Cobb. Joseph Cobb b 1772 NJ(first wife he married in NJ or perhaps Penn. because his first born was born in Penn. (David) ) they seem to have moved a lot. Joseph and wife 1 had at least 4 children Joseph Jr. Mar. Mary Farly Feb 17 1828 in Muskingum Co. Ohio. They had at about 9 kids. The last child I have for them is a George b 1851..just cant put him with them. David b 1793 in PA mar. Margaret(Peggy) Whitaker Her father was living with them in the 1840 Census. I found no children. Isiah (first found his name as Josiah) census proved me wrong.Isiah is listed as marrying Hannah Dickson 19 Jan 1832, and is listed with her in the 1850 census in Harrison township, he 48 born in New Jersey and she 44 with no children. Dickson, or Dixon was her first marriage and children from that marriage live with them.Child 4 Anna Cobb mar. James B. Henry nov 9 1837 they had 4 kids. Lived in Muskingum co. Joseph Mar. Mary Penrod (Bateman 1st mar.)on Oct 15 1826. They had one child George T. b 1829 he mar.Arian Ann Buckingham june 7 1849 had 7 kids I know nothing of them. Mary Penrod had three children (that I found) with the Bateman. Marys father is John m Sarah Davis. If you can help It would be great.
