Laura Ellen Ray, b Jun 1872, Westville, Chariton Co, MO and died Dec 1974 in Whittier CA,is my great aunt. Her first husband was Henry Penrod. They had at least one child, Beatrice b. 1892. Per the 1900 Chariton Co,MO Census, Laura and Beatrice were living with Laura's father, Lewis Franklin Ray. What happened to Henry Penrod, did they have any other children, and who were his parents?
