I am looking for information on Ira Alonzo "Lonzo" Penrod, born January 6, 1875, died April 6, 1931 and is buried in Laflin Cemetery, near Alex, Grady County, OK. He married Cora Lee McKamey, born July 19, 1885 and died October 1969 and buried in Laflin Cemetery.
They had two children from this marriage. Tillman Glen Penrod, born May 9, 1927, Grady County, OK, died December 17, 1991, Fresno, CA. The other son Ira R Penrod I have no additional information on him.
Cora was previously married to John Preston Bowerman, born April 3, 1883, died November 9, 1918. They were living in Morvin, Pottawatomie County, OK when he registered for the WWI draft in September 1918, just two months before he died.
The 1920 Census shows Cora Lee Bowerman living as a widow in Grady County, OK next to her parents. She had four children from the first marriage.
I am doing research for Cora's granddaughter who lives in Stockton, CA.
