Tim,

On the lineage chart that I have, I show a John Penrod, Sr. born in 1680 in Cornwall, England. Next I show a John Penrod, Jr. born in 1708 also in England. Then I show a John Penrod, III born in 1726 in New York who married Catherine Barrone at around 1746. The wives of the other above John Penrod's are only listed as Mrs. John Penrod. I Don't know if one of these John Penrod's is the Johann Poenradt that shows in some lineage charts that was married to Gertrude Poenradt. The John Penrod born in 1708 would have been around the same age and came over to America around the same time as Johann Poenradt, so they may be the same person.

Hope this helps some.

Joshua Penrod
