Hi Kim-Thanks for replying.I haven't been working on the family history for about 1 year, so it great to hear from you. It made me want to get back working on it again. To answer your question about Hovey's widow Jennie; I do have a couple of things I recently found out.Jennie's birth surname was REEVES, not Horn.Where I picked up Horn, I don't know! I found this out from a cousin I didn't know I had. He lives in Oregon, and his name is Rudolph Bowman. He emailed me the Family tree from Ancestry.com.This shows Hovey C. Bowman (1853-1886) and Jennie Reeves (1852-1920).The date of marriage was 10/25/1873.The family group sheet from Ancestry.com indicated they had 3 children, Edna Mae (born 1879), Rudolph (born 1882), and Bertram Hovey (1884-1866..he was my grandfather).I don't kknow the date, but, Jennie remarried after Hovey died. His name was George J. Roberts. In addition to the 3 children she brought into this new family, together with George they had a son, James b. 1892 and a daughter, Helen, b. 1895.I hope this info gives some insight into my side of the family.Best wishes,Joy
