Penny family from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland

David Penny married Jean Felton 1776 Antrim area(?)had 10 children. Son James Penny b 1781 born Carrickfergus. He married Agnes and they had six children.

Daughter Mary Ann Penny b 1822 married Andrew Thomas in Ballylinney, emigrated to USA Manchester NH had 12 children including son Andrew who created flax business in N Dakota. Extensive family throughout States.

Daughter Nancy Agnes Penny b 1818 married Andrew McComb in Carnmoney in 1840 and also emigrated to Manchester NH. Some family in Arizona.

Daughter Rachel Penny b 1809 married George Law in Tasmania in 1840, a soldiers wife, spent time in India returned to Little Hallingbury Northamptonshire.

Son John Penny b 1816 (my great, great grandfather) in Belfast emigrated to Cheshire, UK, had two wives and 18 children, became paper merchant in Stockport. Two sons emigrated to New Zealand.

Having found family in USA, Australia & New Zealand, my search continues to be focused in Ireland and I am looking for links.
