Thomas Penny received a land grant for 300 acres in 1767 for land in what became Spartanburg County, SC
In her will in 1816 Sarah only listed three children. She gave Robert McCrorey, Mary Person, and John Penny one shilling each and gave a horse and the tract of land she lived on to her grandson Robert McCrorey. This Robert McCrorey married Martha Wood and was in DeKalb County, GA by 1840.
I need info on Thomas and John Penny, Sarah Penny, the daughters name that married Robert McCrorey, etc.
Is this the John that married Martha Powell?
