I am looking for descendants of Sidney O. Pennington, Representative from Shelby Co. during the Congress of the REpublic of Texas on October 3, 1836 in Columbia, Texas. We are dedicating a beautiful park with 20 historical stations, native plants and walking path to the history that happened at that time in Texas. Would love to have descendants of Signey O. Pennington to attend the dedidation of the "Capitol of Texas Park - A Walk through the Birth of Texas" on April 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. Contact tissie@quikheal.com for more information.
