Hello Ruth, have been reading your postings. I have just started reseaching "Pennington". But so far I believe I descended from Ephraim > Moses b. 1775 VA d. 1820 m. 1795 Ann Osborn > Riley m. 1. Rhoda Smith 2. Maria Saulsbury > Elly Jane Pennington m. Andrew Sellers (my gg-grandparents.
They were from Schuyler County IL. Riley had a sister Melissa who m. Thomas Sellers. And I believe brothers Joel, William and Riggs.
