Hi John: So you live in England? When you come to USA, please visit! I will personally give you a tour of Elkridge. I will do what I can to get you a copy of that book and mail it to you - and if I can't get a copy, I will try to have it copied and then see about scanning it by PDF to you from work (if that is possible). Do you have PDF file capabilities? I will see what I can do. If I can't scan it - I will mail you the copied pages. On page 99, there is a wonderful letter, dated 1/23/33, from W.B.D. Penniman to Dr. George D. Penniman, Mr. Thomas D. Penniman (geneaologist), Dr. George D. Penniman (ancestor) and Mr. J.A. Dushane Penniman (legal expert) regarding whether a German great-great uncle of his was Jewish because of some food he ate. He asked a "Rabbi Rivkin" and the Rabbi's answer was "yes."

My answer is "no" to being an "organizer" as in a "union organizer," if that is what you mean. I am a "reorganizer." I like to organize environments - like rooms and offices - personal spaces. Being creative. Organizing groups and telling people what to do is not exactly my cup of tea, although I am an outspoken person. I would like to tell the Army Corps of Engineers what I really think of them as they, just about singlehandedly, destroyed the Mississippi River by building levees in the 1920's, with the backing of rich folks who wanted a town built (New Orleans) no matter what the cost -- but I digress. Maybe I should be a union organizer??? God can open some doors and He can close them.

Let me know your thoughts.

Mary
