Thanks for the quick reply. Odd that you should mention the name of Campbell. One of George and Nancy(Penny?) James children was named Andrew Campbell James. Before I found the 1850 Hardin County census, I thought perhaps that was his mother's maiden name. Thank you for the information. If you should find any thing to link the Penny families, please let me know.
