I am an in law to the Penneys of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. My father-in-law is Donavon (Don) Eugene Penney (m.Saralyn Agnes Brumlow) and his father was William Edward Penney b.9/17/21 d.2/9/81(m.Gladys Lillian Duckett). I know that Wm's mother's name was Nancy and she died bet. 1930-1955. Wm has a brother Thomas and a sister Jewell. We don't know if the children of Nancy were born out of wedlock and assumed their mother's name or if their father died when they were very young. We really do not know anything other than this. NEED HELP! - thanks
