Diane,
I looked at your info wrong and then went to do some double checking. The Christian Penner by info from 1850 census would have been born 1782, and would then be the brother of John that married Anna Honaker instead of a son; therefore, he is the son of Peter Sr. and wife Margaret Smith and his is first wife is a Mary Whalin the daughter of Patrick Whalin. I hope I have this right and If I don't I'll correct it again.
