Hello,
6 generations (around 1818) ago my ascendants came from north part of Germany to Austria / Hungary (Czechoslovakia, now I am living in Slovakia). They were glassmakers. Most of this people were Mennonites. Many of them emigrated to USA or to the south America. Name "Penner" came from Holland around 1450 to Germany. So Holland / that is the place were all Penners came from THE BEGINNING.
Many of this people were cratsmen and builders.
This name means in German language "wanderer, beggar", someone without home... :-)It is kind of swear-word.
All I need is an advise, how and where could I looking for
a men Daniel Penner (1780?) / he was the first who came from Germany, to established glass fabric in Austria/Hungary. They were 11 glassmakers from North Germany with families at set/outs(carts).Hungarian countess invited them between 1780 / 1818.

thank you

Sona Penerova
