Hey there Mr. Pennel, How ya doing? Great I hope. I was just wondering where in Middlesex Co. Va., "John Pennell and Elizabeth Ingram"(Parent's of Thomas Pennel b.1721) were from, and is the "Ingram family" or any other "Pennell family" 'left'(still there) in the area there that you know of. My mother "Joan" Joanna Pennell Gann/Martinez,Daughter of Ruff Pennell, gave a son up for adoption at 6 months old and he lives in that area. and ironically was adopted by an old family from that area. Northern Neck VA. He even had a boat down that way, on the water. It would be really neat to find out if the family that adopted him was some realtion, to the Pennell's or Ingram's. since he originally was a Pennel decendant. His name before he was adopted would be living Pennell/Allen, Allen was the last name of his father. Well that's what it say's in my social service's report from the case paper's 1963. Emmon's and Brown, were two of the case reporters at the time for me and my older brother. So we had all the info on the rest of the gang 5 of us, that includes living Pennell/Witt that was raised by grandparents Ruff and Amney Pennell, except for our 2 brother's that were raised by our mom Joann Pennell, they were Meeker's. I think it's neat I have another set of gggggg-grandparents, making that 8 generations back. That's awsome. I have my brother'sadopted mom's address, so I'll send him(living Allen, now living Talbert) this info, he might like to have it. Take Care, and God Bless You In the mid-west. Sincerely, Sandi Fino Gann/Pennell
