I answered your message by email Sunday evening and it was returned this morning as unfound.
In answer to your question I have some cds which is where I found the marriage. I know I live in Northamptonshire but it saves a lot of time with the different parishes etc. I still do at times visit the libraries and record centre checking up on what I find on the cds as I did once find an error and for extra research. Since being in contact with you I have noticed the cd doesn't contain the records of the church where Sarah was baptised, I will have to contact him. Take a look if you want to at www.familyhistorynorthants.co.uk you may find it interesting.
I worry that I may be leading you up the wrong pathway with that marriage but it is worth looking at. There are two deaths for an Ellen Penn on www.freebmd.org.uk in the Hardingstone district 1857 and 1862. A lot of people find these Penns very difficult to sort out, I know I do.
If I find anything else of interest I will be in contact again. I may look up the record of Sarahs baptism to check the surname of Helen when I am in Northampton again. Who knows our trees may connect.
Don't be afraid to contact me if I can be more of help.
