Hi Pat,
My name is Alyssa. Dawn and I are sisters and we are working on this together. Thanks so much for this great information. We did find a 1900 census naming James F. PENN(known as Frank) and Eliza V. (known as Virginia) and all of their children. I would be happy to forward that to you if you like.

The only error is that "Bessie" was mis-documented by the census collector. We knew her well (she died when I was in HS and Dawn was in college) Her name was actually Hessie. We believe she was named after the state in Germany where her father's family came from (Hessen/Hesse).
She married Samuel HORNEY, and raised her sister's (Ethel) son after Ethel died. He is the Edwin Collins that you have.

Would you mind sharing the 1860 & 1930 census and court record that you have found? I have been attaching these type of docs to our ancestry.com tree and we are putting together a book including these images for our family reunion.
Here is my email address alyssa.nemes@yahoo.com and Dawn's dd1502000@yahoo.com.

If you would like to give me your email address I would be happy send you an invitation to view our tree, and also the copy of the census records.
Thanks again for your help!!
Alyssa Allen-Nemes
