I am looking for anything on Matilda Penley b. 1839, Anne b. 1858 and James b. 1864. In 1880 they are in the town of Philips, Dekalb, GA. I have never found this family in the 1860 or 1870 census, and I need to know Matilda's husbands name. I know that James married Elizabeth Dobbs in Dekalb, and then Sophia Howard in Spalding. I have some information on them already. Anne, who was my gr-grandmother, married Charles Edmonds by 1881 and lived in Augusta for about 3 years. They ended up in Hickman, KY where they died in 1901. I have been to the Pendley website, but can find nothing that can help tie my Penley family in with the others from Dekalb. This is my brickwall, so anything at all would be very appreciated.
