I recently lost my laptop to a deceased mother board.
At present I cannot get to my emails, so I have none of your addresses and information that you sent to me.
PLEASE, if you've ever emailed to me, drop me a note with some basic information about your direct PENLY / PENLEY line back to your earliest known ancestor.
We continue to make progress in finding:
descendants of early PENLEY's [in Maine from 1770 on and also some from the PENLEY who was there in the 1600's (but we known of only descendants of his daus)] and also
ancestors of those who know of some PENLY / PENLEY connection from rhe early 1900's back into the 1800's (perhaps you know only some info abt the family after they left Maine and moved to MA or other places).
Send us what you know and we'll try our best to connect you to the right line.
WONDERFUL THINGS HAPPEN WHEN WE SHARE !
Recently a man in TX contacted me re sharing a photo from the 1930's of his family which included his gm's sister's (who had married a PENLEY from KS) family. When I gave him a mailing address (at my m-i-l's), I gave my m-i-l's full name (incl maiden). He wrote back that he was a descendant of my m-i-l's family. This man who wrote to share a seventy year old photograph that included PENLEY relatives (who had moved from Maine to KS abt 1870 ) and my husband turned out to be 6th cousins, both descendants of McDADE siblings who lived in VA & NC in the early to mid 1700's.
SMALL WORLD !
Looking forward to hearing from you.
