I am looking for descendants of R. Penhollow and wife Phoebe Stewart.
Phoebe Penhollow b 14 Jan 1898 NE, d Jul 1974; last residence Norfolk, Madison Co, NE. According to 1940 Wayne Co, NE historical bio on her father it says she was married to R. Penhollow. I do not know what happened to him.
I am working on the family of John BELL b ca 1815 and wife Hettie Ann Neighbors(?) b 1820 KY. They are on the 1840 Coles Co, IL census, and John died shortly after that.
Aaron W.Bell b ca 1839 IL, md 1861 Johnson Co, NE to Ruth Elsworth
Nettie Bell b ca 1872 NE, m 1888 Johnson Co, NE to Wm A. Stewart
Phoebe Stewart b 14 Jan 1898 NE.
An obituary for Phoebe might help if it listed her survivors. I have found 4 descendants from various branches of John & Hettie's line. Two didn't know anything (one of them would like to learn more); I'm waiting for a letter from third; and I just heard from someone who saw a new query of mine, and emailed me an address for the fourth one (she is descendant of Phoebe's sister). It would be nice if we could form a group to pool our information. And, I would follow up on new clues on my next trip to Salt Lake City. I am happy to share, too.
