Hello Mrs Lollar,
I don't know if this would help but George Washington Pendley was my Grandfather. He lived mostly in DuBois, Orange, and Martin Counties in Indiana. He married Juanita Nelson and they had 6 Children, Wayne, Larry (my father), Tom, Jane (Archer), Frank, and Robin (Purkhiser). All of them live in the same area and have lots of kids each. My grandfather and grandmother both passed away last summer. George was 93 and Juanita was 85. He told me that his Grandfather was from KY, I think it was Butler County but I may be mistaken.
I hope this is helpful. Of course, it may be the wrong George Washington Pendley. I know our family is notorious for using the same names over and over, like John, George, and Martin.
