Joe,
I think starting a Pendley website where we can communicate with other Pendley researchers and keep in touch with what each is finding is a great idea. I am just beginning my search for my ancestors, so I know it would help me a lot. I am on the Bennett Pendley line. I know Bennett married Penetor Hisaw. I know that they had several children, including my gggrandfather, Benjamin Jasper Pendley. He married Nancy Ann Stroud and they had several children, one of which was Jesse Murphy Pendley, my great grandfather. He married Martha Ann Ledlow, and had ten children, one of which is my grandmother, Evelyn Estelle Pendley Smith. If there is anyone out there that can help. It would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has any pictures of the earlier Pendley's I would appreciate those as well. Also, I am looking for a June Turner that lived in Apple Valley, CA. She was a descendant of the same Pendley line, but her grandfather was a brother to my great grandfather.
