I am following the WILLIAMS descendant line. I have more info. on Williams ancestors.
Because records suggest Alexander Mitchell Williams that Amanda M. H. PENDLETON may have been a widow, I thought it might be helpful on this forum.

Alexander Mitchell WILLIAMS was born 5 JAN 1818 in Lincoln County, Missouri, and died 5 SEP 1891 in Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas. He married Amanda Minerva HARRELL 11 OCT 1849 in Texas, daughter of William HARRELL and Minerva WOODS. She was born 23 SEP 1819 in Woods Fort, near present Troy, Lincoln County, Missouri, and died 10 JUN 1897 in Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas.
Children of Alexander Mitchell WILLIAMS and Amanda Minerva HARRELL are:
i. Sophronia WILLIAMS was born 8 JUL 1850 in Texas, and died 13 JUN 1931 in Lockhart, Caldwell County, Texas. She married William A. CLARK, 6 May 1869. He was born 31 Aug 1846 and died 25 Sep 1913.
ii. Elizabeth Minerva WILLIAMS was born 26 JAN 1853 in Texas, and died UNKNOWN. She married Alexander Spotswood THOMSON, 22 Jan 1878. He was born 16 Jan 1846 and died 2 Feb 1898.
iii. Benjamin WILLIAMS was born 29 OCT 1856 in Texas, and died 21 FEB 1857.
iv. Annie WILLIAMS was born 27 JUL 1859 in Texas, and died 23 FEB 1936 in Texas. She married Reuben Reynolds SAFFARRANS, 6 Dec 1882. He was born 22 Jul 1845 and died 21 Nov 1926.
v. Ruth Alexandria WILLIAMS was born 24 FEB 1862 in Texas, and died 29 DEC 1951 in Texas. She married Johnnie J. HALL, 31 Dec 1882. He was born abt 1855 and died 2 Sep 1895.
