Perhaps we can correspond more quickly directly. Charles Pendexter Durell had Nellie and Charles Franklin Durell after marriage. Lived in Oxford. Nelly died when Charles was very young. As I'm very much of a greenhorn about this, all I remember is that he went to Bates, graduating in 1907. He then went to work for the NYTimes and then became a school principal in Hingham MA and moved to Watertown MA a bit later. He talked @ Hugh being hi uncle. Perhaps Hugh's sister was Sally King?
I can see a lot of work to be done although a genealogy book by **** Watson (Daniel?) is somewhere here and I'll dig it out soon.
The Kings were Horatio (Portland?)and his ?daughter Drucilla. My mother used to talk @ Drucilla whenever we went by Longwood Towers and that's it about the Kings.
