Looking for info on John Gauis Pender. He went by Dock Pender. He lived on the north fork of the Neuse River, near Freemont, NC., outside of Goldsboro, NC. I think his father was Wiley Pender. In 1850 census, he had a brother name William, and sister named Imagene Pender.
John had a wife named Martha Rohdes-Pender. The children were John Thaddus, Waverly, James Evander Culpepper, Hattie(stayed in NC-married Mack Lewis), and Ivon Fitzhugh(Huey)Pender. They moved to SC after the Civil War. Any info would help!
