I am seeking information on what became of Eliza and Arthur Pender of Halifax Co. North Carolina after 1860. They are listed as living with their children in Halifax in the 1860 Census. I can find some of their children, including my great grandfather, who was in Texas in the 1870 Census. One of their children, Susan, appears to be listed in the 1870 Census as living with the Applewhite Family in Rockymount NC.
