Hi Randy:
I suspect that the James Pendarvis born ca.1808-09 (died 1860-1870) mentioned here as moving to Florida in 1859 is my gggrandfather-father of Harmon L. Pendarvis. I have had no luck with family members memories on this subject. It Appears that nobody remembers hearing about him since My gradfather, Charles, seldom spoke of family. I have been unable to get to Florida through any source.I also have been unable to go further back than this James to find his parents.
I have the descendency from him very well but I really want to get back further, hopefully to establish Joseph & Parthenia.Any suggestions about where to look would be appreciated.
I know you posted this a long time ago so I hope you or someone has some leads on it now.
Thanks for any help you can give.I am still looking forward to reading your book. When will we see it for sale?
