Does anyone else have this Pendarvis information? I would like to verify it with someone else as my cousin went to England 20 years ago and gathered what I now have and I am not certain all facts are correct. So use with caution.
Joseph Pendarvis and wife Elizabeth Stonewall came to America (one of them was the indentured servant of Thomas Hart) with the First Fleet and brought their children,John, Mary, and Ann on the ship, Carolina. Joseph was the son of Alexander and Alice Humphrey Pendarvis of Cornwall County, England. Alexander died 28 July 1684 in Cornwall County, England. Alexander's parents were Thomas and ? Pendarvis. Thomas was born in Camborne, England, no dates given. His parents were David and Mary Sperron Pendarvis of Crowan, Cornwall County, England.
Also, has anyone else found that William Pendarvis born in 1729 (son of Joseph and Parthena Pendarvis) was married to Catherine Pound or Pfund? I have never seen anyone else have this and was wondering if this was correct or not. William and Catherine Pound Pendarvis were the parents of William 1754-1782 (killed in Revolutionary War, he was a Tory), Anne 1756-?, and John 1759-?. Does anyone know to whom the William that was born in 1754-1782 was married to? He seems to be the lost link to the William and Margaret Vance Pendarvis of Smith County Tennessee.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Ruby Ann
