I have not actively been researching my Pembroke line although I posted a message sometime ago and my initial lead was to Berkshire. However, interestingly, my g-grandfather's name was Herbert, he would have been born c. 1870-1880.

Pembrokes seem fairly unusual and I would be interested if you discover more about the origins of the name.
