In the Hamilton county 1892 census there is a John E Pelcher and a John M Pelcher with about the right ages. http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyhamilt/census/1892lake3.htmlhttp://www.rootsweb.com/~nyhamilt/census/1892lake3.html
I'm looking for info on Joseph Pelcher, 1824, born in New York married Alinda Scidmore with children, Alfred, Eliza J., Amy & Alvinda. The 1880 Hamilton County census says that his father was from Canada and his mother from Boston.
Did Ambrose and John have another brother Joseph?
