I'd be very interested in comparing notes with you. Your Mary Martha Pelot was the sister of my Sarah Bulia Pelot, so we have quite a few ancestors in common, and though I, like you, have lots of "facts", I don't always have the sources backing them up and would love to hear what you've got.
In the meantime, there's an article that might interest you in The Genealogist (Vol. 1, No 2 -- Fall, 1980) called "Swiss Ancestry and Descendants of Jonas Pelot who Settled in South Carolina in 1734". (Jonas is the grandfather of James Pelot) I haven't tracked that one down myself but plan to -- it was recommended by Rosanne Taylor O'Kelley, who did a pretty extensive delineation of this stuff.
